Regulus has a particular relation to Leo and Ray 2, as it focusses an aspect of the power of that ray and Sirus via that sign.
The influences of Sirius, three in number, are focussed in Regulus […] which is frequently called “the heart of the Lion.” There is more real occultism hidden in the names given to the various stars by astronomers down the ages than has yet been realised, and here you have a case in point. This influence does not work alone, and is destined to bring about changes in the legal profession as ruled by Ray 3, Libra and the third principle in general. This optimistic prediction—especially regarding children—is explained in Esoteric Astrology:
