An example of cosmic arrangements of planetary schemes
- Saturn-Uranus-Neptune
- Vulcan-Mercury-Mars
- Venus-Earth-Jupiter
Not strictly a triangle, this arrangement is an example of cosmic arrangements of planetary schemes from a Treatise on Cosmic Fire.
The planets Venus and Jupiter and exceedingly closely connected with the Earth and form eventually an esoteric triangle (TCF 370)
This is shown in TCF as part of a diagram showing the planetary schemes and their relationships with each other. Vulcan-Mercury-Mars (not covered here) forms the other half of a six-pointed star with this triangle, with Saturn-Uranus-Neptune as a separate 3rd triangle. The listing hints at how the planets serve as vast chakras in the solar system, and how Saturn is a major resolution of the minor four, and eventually for all the seven
(TCF 370)
Another valuable hint to esoteric astrologers is in the naming of Saturn-Uranus-Neptune as “synthesising planetary schemes” that “provide conditions suitable only for the very advanced stages”; and that they are “reaping planets” (TCF 777).
The whole arrangement suggests that the planets from Vulcan to (exoteric) Saturn (counting from the Sun outwards) embody the development of personal life, culminating in the reaping of this awareness by Saturn, and a withdrawal from the four lower chakras; during the next phase of development, Saturn-Uranus-Neptune “reap the experience” from a developed awareness of those on the path undergoing conscious development.
These arrangements are not really astrological triangles and are far removed from our personal lives, but they may be interpreted in horoscopes by stepping down the cosmic meaning and relationships to a human scale.
See TCF 368-72 and 777 for the original meaning.
